Today, I got a call from some parents asking about our 1 BHK vacancy.
This call is quite different.
Their son is actually staying in the Acharya College hostel, and due to some ragging issues, they are looking for a PG or 1 bhk house.
When they were speaking, all they were asking was a kind of security for their children.
I told them we were the owner and would be staying here on the first floor.
As soon he heard, he felt somewhat relieved, I guess.
Then, they asked if there were any ragging issues in your building?
As this is a private stay, there won’t be any ragging kind of issues that commonly happen in most college hostels won’t happen here.
In the college hostels, all colleges advertise a Ragging free hostel. In reality, it will be there in all hostels.
I stayed in the hostel while doing my MCA (not at Acharya College).
In that college hostel, even though we were the freshers, education-wise, we were the seniors.
None of them ragged for us.
But, all the new BE students who joined the hostel? Always goes through small ragging.
Few students get targeted heavily…
Looks like their son is having ragging issues and now looking to change their accommodation.
Anyway, we currently don’t have any vacancies on our property. We will have one 1 BHK unit available from December month end or on Jan 1st week.
Student education (oh.. he is also MCA) is over, and he is moving.
